Easy And Simple DIY Scalp Exfoliators

If you’re dealing with dry and itchy scalp lately, scalp exfoliation is what you need to try. Scalp exfoliation is just like you exfoliate your face and body. It has some amazing benefits and you should add this to your hair care regime.

Sea Salt+ Honey+ Olive Oil

Sea salt will act as a great exfoliator while honey and olive oil will nourish your scalp.
It’s very easy to make the sea salt scalp scrub. All you have to do is-
• Mix one tablespoon of sea salt with one tablespoon of olive oil and half tablespoon of honey.
• Mix all the ingredients really well.
• Cover the mixture for about 15 minutes and apply it to your scalp.
• Make sure you apply it all over the scalp and gently rub it.
Make sure you’re gently rubbing it as vigorous rubbing can lead to hair fall.
Follow the procedure e at least once a week.

Lemon and Brown Sugar

While brown sugar will gently exfoliate your scalp and lemon will heal all the scalp related infections.
For preparing this mixture all you have to do is-
• Mix one tablespoon of lemon juice with two tablespoons of brown sugar.
• Make sure you mix the ingredient really well.
• Apply it all over the scalp and rub for about 5 minutes.
• Rinse your hair with a mild cleanser and cold water.
Coldwater will help to close all the pores that are opened while scrubbing your scalp.

Fenugreek Seeds+ Coconut Oil

Fenugreek seeds are amazing for your hair. Their anti-bacterial properties make it a great scalp exfoliator and coconut oil will make your scalp stronger.
All you have to do is-
• Soak fenugreek seeds in water overnight.
• The next morning, blend the fenugreek seeds into a thick paste. Make sure the paste is not fully blended otherwise it will be difficult for you to use it as a scrub.
• Mix one tablespoon of coconut oil to the blended seeds and apply it all over the scalp.
Massage it for about 5 minutes and rinse it off with coldwater only.

Coffee + Shea Butter

This magical combination works really well during the winter season. All you have to do is-
• Add one tablespoon of coffee to about half a tablespoon of Shea butter.
• Mix both the ingredients really well.
• Apply it all over the roots and gently scrub the mixture for about 2 minutes. Make sure you’re not scrubbing more than two minutes.
• Now, apply olive oil to your hair and keep overnight.
• Next morning, rinse your hair with a mild cleanser and coldwater.
If you’re following this step during winter make sure you do it once every twice a week.

Aloe Vera Gel+ Fenugreek Seeds+ Mustard Oil

We can’t get enough of the benefits of fenugreek seeds. Fenugreek seeds are anti-inflammatory and anti-bacterial, and we all know how amazing aloe vera gel and mustard oil is for your hair.
All you have to is –
• Blend fenugreek seeds into a thick paste.
• Add about one tablespoon each of mustard oil and coconut oil.
• Mix all the ingredients really well.
• Apply it all over the scalp and massage it gently.
• After massaging for about 5 minutes.
• Rinse your hair with a mild cleanser and coldwater.
Do it at least once a week.
